Vitensenter Nordland, situated in Mo i Rana, is one of Norway's regional science centers dedicated to making science, mathematics, and technology accessible through hands-on experiences. The center offers a variety of exhibits and activities designed to engage visitors of all ages with interactive learning.

A major focus is energy, where visitors can explore how power is produced, transported, and consumed. Exhibits demonstrate the impact of different energy sources, particularly renewable energy, and allow participants to test the effort required to generate electricity for everyday devices. The center also features displays on the Earth and universe, providing insights into geological and astronomical phenomena. Visitors can learn about earthquakes, lava flows, and continental drift, as well as the science behind seasonal changes and meteorites.

Another key theme is sustainability, with exhibits addressing food self-sufficiency, recycling, and climate-friendly choices. The Environmental Store allows visitors to engage in role-playing activities, making decisions about sustainable food consumption and waste management. Through these interactive experiences, the center encourages awareness of environmental challenges and the role technology plays in shaping a more sustainable future.
